Yesterday I posted about the collaboration between tokidoki and Yahoo and the exclusive line of purple and Yahoo logo-ed T-shirts. Today I bring you yet another Yahoo exclusive, the limited edition Mimobot series.

You may know and use the Mimobot flash drives and their mash ups with artists such as tokidoki, Sket One, Reach and Gary Baseman.

There were three different styles that were produced by Mimoco exclusively for Yahoo’s odd and overly quirky purple campaign. Each 2.0 flash drive holds 1GB. Each was made in limited numbered quantities of 1500 and will put you back $36 each.

There are three “characters”. The Yodelbot is a sleekly illustrated as a purple detailed robot. The IM>) & O:-) , An angel / devil illustrated file saver. And lastly, the super cool Code Ninja, my favorite for sure. Each of these was designed by “Yahoos”.

Nathan Spoor: “Suddenly”

Nathan Spoor shared a few of his newest pieces with us, so we thought we’d share one our favorite acrylic on canvas pieces: Citizens of the War. This newer work “is a
figurative investigation into the daily intrigue,” Spoor explained to Juxtapoz.

If you happen to be free this Saturday and feel like braving a haunted house full of Spoor’s newest paintings, then you’re in luck because on September 27, 2008 Spoor’s exhibit Suddenly will open its doors. Suddenly is “a way-out show in a rebuilt historical (read: haunted) hotel in West Texas this weekend. Fun huh?”

Spoor jokes.

Intrigued? You should be. Details at nathanspoor.com
